Saido Berahino was quick to shut down an angry Stoke fan with an X-rated response following his ill-fated spell.
The 30-year-old arrived at the bet365 Stadium in 2017 with big expectations after joining in a deal rising to £15million from West Brom.

He almost joined Tottenham just 18 months earlier after banging in 20 goals for the Baggies during the 2014/15 campaign.
But he struggled for consistency with the Potters - finding the back of the net just five times in 56 matches.
He failed to get on the scoresheet in the Premier League for Stoke, with all of his efforts coming following their relegation to the Championship.
Stoke fans often criticised the striker as a result of his poor displays, with supporters commenting on his form during an open Q&A session Berahino held on social media.

One X user asked the Burundi international: "Why were you so s*** at Stoke?"
To which Berahino brilliantly responded by saying: "Was a s*** place to work honestly."
Another Stoke fan chimed in, where he said: "You were given time and support at Stoke, and were still pretty awful, what specifically did you do (or not do) to make this the case?"
Again hitting back, Berahino remarked: "I wasn’t awful actually. Clearly I wasn’t getting any support from you!"

However, that wasn't indicative of his view of supporters when he added another response to say "Fans were always so supportive but guess the project wasn’t good enough."
This Stoke supporter then popped up with this question: "What went wrong for you at Stoke?"

Which left Berahino to simply state: "Everything."
Asked in the light hearted Q&A what he would do differently if he could relive his Stoke career again, he simply wrote: "Sign a better back room staff and coach."
He played for Paul Lambert, Mark Hughes, Gary Rowett and Nathan Jones, the latter of which he said playing for was a 'disaster'.
Following Berahino's Stoke exit in 2019, his ex-teammate Glen Johnson launched a brutal attack on the forward's character in an interview with talkSPORT.

It led the player to declare he is sick of being made a scapegoat for Stoke's failures.
Berahino is currently plying his trade in Cyprus with AEL Limassol, but he is set to become a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the month.
